I am a licensed clinical social worker in Pennsylvania. After receiving my Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007, I spent the following years working in outpatient community mental health, the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorder Services and the UPenn Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. I began my private practice in 2012, where I continue to enjoy helping clients meet their goals.

My Therapeutic Orientation

Most of my work is relational and interpersonal in nature. I am trained in and actively use other styles of therapy based on clients wants and needs. I encourage narrative therapy to help people find their true voice, and use storytelling to process memories and meaningful experiences. I find cognitive therapy useful for restructuring negative self talk and working through issues related to core beliefs. In 2018 I completed a three year training program at the Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia, where I learned to incorporate the main principles of awareness and mindfulness into my daily practice. I'm always interested in expanding my skill set, and consider my work to be a collaborative process with each client.
